Andrew Mason

Andrew Mason is a producer with more than 30 years of industry experience in film and television production. He produced New Line’s kafkaesque thriller Dark City in 1998, directed by Alex Proyas. Between 1998 and 2003 he served as producer or executive producer for films including the Waschowski brothers’ The Matrix and its sequels, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions.

More recently, under the banner Hopscotch Pictures, he has produced Adoration (2013); I, Frankenstein, Saving Mr Banks and The Water Diviner starring Russell Crowe. He has also served in a number of official roles including Deputy Chair on the board of the Screen NSW, the board of the Sydney Film Festival, and the Council of Australian Film Television & Radio School.

Cika Prihadi

Fransiska Prihadi is Program Director of MINIKINO Film Week (MFW) Bali International Short Film Festival. She’s also an architect, out-of-school education entrepreneur. She pursued short film appreciation since 2007 while maintaining her network in the world of architecture, philanthropy and film production. Fransiska is a member of SEA Shorts, Malaysia 2017 and 2018 selection committee.

Najwa Shihab

Najwa Shihab is a multi-award winning journalist and anchor of the nightly current affairs show mata najwa (Trans7). Najwa regularly interviews the country’s political, social and cultural leaders. Najwa’s YouTube channel has over 2.4 million subscribers and after launching in 2017 she received the YouTube Silver Button for receiving 100k subscriptions in just three months.

A graduate of the UI Law School, in 2009 Najwa received an Australian Leadership Award and completed her LLM at Melbourne University. Najwa is the Indonesian Reading Ambassador 2016-2020.

Nick Baker

Nick Baker is a member of the ReelOzInd! Advisory Group and a judge for ReelOzInd! 2019.

Nick has written, directed and produced a number of short films over the past decade. After a few years of living abroad, he reconnected with primary school friend Tristan Klein to form Seek and Hide Productions in Sydney. Together they have achieved considerable success at film festivals internationally. They have won Tropfest New York and placed runner-up twice at Tropfest Australia. Their short film The Wall, narrated by David Wenham, was nominated for an AACTA Award, Australia’s highest film accolade.

Novi Kurnia

Novi Kurnia is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Communication Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. She is also a researcher at Pemantau Regulasi dan Regulator Media (PR2Media, Media Regulation and Regulator Research Centre), Yogyakarta. Kurnia finished her PhD study at Flinders University, South Australia, in 2014. Her thesis about women film directors and their films in post-New Order Indonesia. She also completed her master program at Flinders University in 2007 by writing a thesis about the discourse of polygamy in Indonesian cinema.

Kurnia is also the founder and chair-person of IF!fest (Indonesian Film Festival) held in Adelaide in 2006, 2008 & 2009. She has organised and served as a jury member for several film festivals in her hometown, Yogyakarta. Her main interest is film, media, gender and cultural studies. Her works published in national and international journals and books.

Paul O’Brien

Paul O’Brien is a South African-Australian actor best known for roles on Home & Away, Neighbours, Underbelly and feature films Christmas Down Under and A Summer to Remember. He won the Logie Award for Most Popular New Male Talent in 2006.

In 2018, O’Brien played the lead role in Message Man, a production filmed throughout Indonesia. Through Paul O’Brien Acting, he also offers acting coaching classes from his Melbourne-based studio.

Suzy Hutomo

Suzy Hutomo is the co-owner and chairperson of The Body Shop Indonesia. She has served as a climate presenter with Al Gore’s The Climate Reality Project since 2011 and is also the founder of Sustainable Suzy, a lifestyle channel that can be found here.

Suzy also is a member of the Supervisory Board of KEHATI – the Indonesia Biodiversity Foundation, the Board of Greenpeace Southeast Asia and the Board of the Kopernik Foundation.
